The Wreathmaker was a site specific installation at Whitespace Gallery in Atlanta. It consisted of 3000+ Plaster funerary wreaths stacked around the room, a table and molds and everything necessary for creating more wreaths on-site. On the wall at the back of the space was a large canvas “calendar” which began in March of 2003, the beginning of the Iraq War and was filled daily with white dots representing the number of wreaths / casualties of the day.
